bio coming soon  Vocalist/Guitarist Troy Pohl is a founding member of the Kamikaze Hearts, Albany, NY “upstate porch rock” perennials. Through several releases, the band has received various accolades including Metroland’s "Best Band" (2005), "Best College Rock" and "Best Vocal Ensemble" (2003), “Best Acoustic Band" (2001) and "Best New Band" (2000). They also enjoy larger national acclaim through a very successful CMJ radio campaign and frequent touring. Troy provided “Big and Bright and Loud” to Sugar Cookie Music, a song that takes him well outside his usual Kamikaze Hearts fare. Although Pohl has played with Buckley and several other Sugar Cookie musicians before; this project marks his first official collaboration with Sorensen. Based on the results it should be the first of many. |
