Bob Buckley provides the low end on all of the Sugar Cookie tracks. Sugar Cookie has provided Buckley the opportunity to once again work with Dan Sorensen. Buckley and Sorensen were once the rhythm section of The Orange, former pop darlings of Upstate New York. Since that band's demise in 2002, Buckley has kept himself busy as a member of the Kamikaze Hearts -- originally as a bassist. In 2004, he was promoted to guitar and dobro. In addition to working with the Hearts, Buckley has played on numerous recordings with local New York luminaries.

In a way, the Sugar Cookie project reunites Buckley with many of those he has worked with over the last few years. Bob has performed and recorded with all of the Sugar Cookie guest vocalists/songwriters: as bassist on Bryan Thomas' "Babylon" record and on Martha Kronholm's/Princess Mabel's self-titled debut; as guitarist/ vocalist/bassist/dobroist with bandmate Troy Pohl on the Kamikaze Hearts recordings. But, what Buckley is most excited about with this project is his by-proxy reunion with former Orange bandmates Sorensen, Frank Moscowitz, and Ben Karis. And he has a wicked nice beard.
